Lisa A. Navarro graduated from Stanford University in 1993, with a Bachelor of Science degree and departmental honors in Political Science. Ms. Navarro received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law in 1997, and was admitted to the California Bar in 1998. Ms. Navarro is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Immediately prior to joining Davis, Grass, Goldstein & Finlay, Ms. Navarro was a senior attorney for Buley Law APC, a boutique firm in Newport Beach where she spent 10 years engaged in civil and commercial litigation, representing clients in areas of insurance coverage and defense, elder abuse, employment, negligence, unfair business practices, business torts, director and officer liability, real estate, derivative actions, and various other complex business disputes. She also engaged in, and has extensive experience, representing entities and individuals, including health care professionals, in all forms of corporate compliance and governance, including entity formation, registration and licensing, governing documents, corporate transactions, and business dissolution.

Prior to Buley Law, APC, Ms. Navarro’s experience included her service as a litigation associate for Locke Lorde LLP (formerly Lord, Bissell & Brook), Barger & Wolen LLP, and as field counsel for Safeco Insurance Company, collectively with whom her practice focused on insurance coverage and defense related to construction defect, premises liability, medical malpractice, and life, health and disability matters.
