About
Keith W. Gaines enlisted in active duty for the United States Army as a Human Intelligence Collector at the age of 17 in 2006. Mr. Gaines deployed for one tour of duty in Iraq during the Global War On Terrorism in 2009. Mr. Gaines continued to serve in San Diego after active duty in the United States Army Reserve.
Mr. Gaines then attended undergraduate education at Grossmont Community College, earning an Associate’s Degree in Administration of Justice before transferring to San Diego State University. Mr. Gaines graduated with distinction in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree, cum laude.
Mr. Gaines worked as a law clerk for Michel & Associates in areas of constitutional law and held the position of Federalist Society President during his time as a law student at California Western School of Law in San Diego. Mr. Gaines
went on to receive his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2024 and was admitted to the California Bar in 2025. Mr. Gaines joined Davis, Grass, Goldstein, & Finlay in 2025.
