Evelin Duenas received her Juris Doctorate from Trinity Law School and was admitted to the California State Bar in May 2021. Ms. Duenas is also licensed to practice before the United States District Court, Central District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Prior to obtaining her law degree, Ms. Duenas worked as a Paralegal for over 16 years at a law firm that specialized in medical malpractice, elder and dependent adult abuse, intentional torts, and premises liability. In 2019, Ms. Duenas volunteered as a Law Clerk with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office where she handled multiple pre-liminary hearings and obtained vast courtroom experience.
Since joining the Davis Grass firm, Ms. Duenas has gained invaluable trial and arbitration experience as co-chair. She has successfully defended a variety of high exposure and/or complex cases ranging from newborn birth injuries to construction defect cases resulting in major injuries, as well as trivial defect cases. She has also obtained favorable settlements at mediation and prevailed on multiple motions for summary judgment.
