Steven B. Goldstein graduated from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida with a degree in languages in 1975. Mr. Goldstein obtained his Juris Doctorate from Western State University College of Law in December 1978 and was admitted to the California Bar in 1982. Mr. Goldstein is a Member of the United States District Court, Central District of California, as well as a Member of ABOTA, the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Mr. Goldstein was a former claims representative with Farmers Insurance Group of Companies before joining the firm of Early, Maslach & Petersen in 1984. Mr. Goldstein began his legal career in insurance law subrogation, which led him to become a trial attorney in personal injury defense as well as litigating cases involving claims of medical malpractice. After gaining experience as a trial attorney, Mr. Goldstein was later employed by a Woodland Hills insurance defense law firm. In 1991 Mr. Goldstein joined Davis, Grass, Goldstein & Finlay . Mr. Goldstein’s most recent trials include defense verdicts in cases alleging wrongful death and failure to diagnose ectopic pregnancy and he has successfully represented clients in California Medical Board investigations. Mr. Goldstein has also been a contributing editor to “The Attorney’s Textbook of Medicine.'
